Update of previous Projects

The only doubly-even (48,24,12)-code is the extended quadratic residue code.

A 2-(46,6,1) BIBD does not exist.

A 2-(22,8,4) BIBD does not exist.

Awards

1992 Lester R. Ford Award, for the article ``The Search for a Finite Projective Plane of Order 10'', which appeared in the April 1991 issue of the American Mathematical Monthly.

2006 Euler Medal, awarded by the Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications to mathematicians with a distinguished lifetime contribution to combinatorial research who are still active in research.
